1. SCRUTINEERING
1.1. Cars must pass scrutineering at any point during the meeting.
1.1.1. Cars will be required to enter and pass scrutineering at the start of the meeting
1.1.2. Random scrutineering may take place at any time during a meeting. This will be carried out at the beginning of any heat/final. All the cars in the chosen heat/final will be checked.
1.1.3. If a car is found to be illegal at any point during the meeting, the competitor will be disqualified and their points will be scrubbed for that meeting.
1.1.4. The top six cars may have their cars opened up and put on the track for everyone to scrutinise at the end of the meeting.
1.1.5. Failure to enter scrutineering when required will result in disqualification.
1.2. Having a magnet effect track there will be checks for magnetraction at scrutineering or at any point during the meeting if any car is suspected of having a magnet fitted.
1.3. Cars will be checked to ensure all parts used are eligible and all rules are adhered to.
1.4. The decision of the Chief Scrutineer is final.

2. RACE AND CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
2.1. The meeting will run in the format of 6 X 4 minute heats with each driver racing once on each lane with their combined laps and footage from every lane counting as their final total.
2.2. Points will be awarded to drivers in the following order:
2.2.1. 1st 25, 2nd 22, 3rd 20, 4th 18, 5th 16, 6th 15, 7th 14 ...continuing to... 19th 2, 20th 1.
2.2.2. 1pt will be awarded to the driver with the fastest lap of night.
2.3. An individual’s best 5 from 6 rounds will count towards their final championship standing.
2.4. In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by count-back. ie the drivers with the greater number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.
2.4.1. In the unlikely event that there is still a tie, dropped rounds will count.

3. CAR REGULATIONS
3.1. Only Slot.it Classic cars & Slot.it parts may be used with the exception of parts listed as FREE CHOICE at the end of the rules.
3.2. Bodies must remain standard as off the shelf. ie no arch extensions, no lowering of bodies, no trimming of wheel arches.
3.3. Bodies may be repainted but the use of unpainted bodies is not allowed and must be painted so that there are no unpainted areas.
3.3.1. The use of clear coat lacquer over plain plastic is not allowed.
3.4. Interiors have to be fitted and must remain standard.
3.5. Windscreens/windows must remain standard and remain clear so that the interior can be viewed.
3.6. Bodies must start each heat/final with spoilers in place and securely fastened.
3.7. Wing mirrors & aerials may be removed.
3.8. Headlamp / tail lamp lenses must be in place at the start of the first heat of each meeting.
3.9. This is a non-magnet championship and therefore the fitted traction magnet(s) must be removed and no extra magnets can be added.

4. CHASSIS
4.1. The chassis must match the body and remain standard.
4.2. The chassis edges may be lightly sanded to allow body or motor mount rock.
4.2.1. Excessive sanding is not allowed and must not be used as a way of reducing weight or increasing flex.
4.3. Some cars are supplied with an anglewinder ready chassis. These must retain the two pop outs which allow an anglewinder mount to fit when used with the sidewinder mounts.

5. SUSPENSION UNITS
5.1. Suspension units are not permitted in this class and must not be fitted.

6. MOTOR MOUNTS
6.1. Only SICH62 and SICH67 sidewinder motor mounts are eligible for use. (These are the standard motor mounts that come with the car).
6.2. Motor mounts must remain standard and cannot be modified in any way.

7. MOTORS
7.1. Only SIMF06 (Slot.it 21k orange can motor) is eligible for use in the series.
7.2. No hybrids of these motors will be allowed and upgrading of motor magnets or brush gear is forbidden.
7.3. If there is evidence of the motor being modified in any way or evidence it has been opened this will be viewed as tampering and the motor will be deemed illegal.
7.4. Motors must fit the mount as they were intended. ie no turning or lowering of motor in mount and additional adaptor mounts cannot be used.

8. GEARING
8.1. Gears must remain standard. No drilling or lightning of gears allowed.
8.2. Gear ratio must be a brass 11 tooth pinion (SIPS11) and a 32 tooth spur gear (SIGA1832E).

9. WHEELS
9.1. Wheels must be from the Slot.it range only and as supplied with the car as standard.
9.1.1. Slot.it air hubs and F1 sized wheels are not eligible.
9.2. Wheels must remain standard and no drilling or lighting of wheels is allowed.
9.3. Plastic wheels may be replaced with alloy wheels of the same size.
9.4. All wheels must run with wheel inserts.

10. AXLES
10.1.Only solid axles from the Slot.it range are permitted in the series.

11. SUSPENSION KITS
10.2. Independent front axle kits are not allowed to be used.

12. TYRES
12.1. Rear tyres must be F22 compounds only - SIPT27/SIPT1207F22
12.2. If the tyres are not easily identifiable by the scrutineers they will be deemed illegal.
12.3. The tyres must not be glued to the wheels however they may be trued and treated but must feel dry to touch at the start of a race.
12.4. Tyre goops are NOT allowed.
12.5. Front Tyres are of a free choice but must be of a rubber compound.
12.6. Front tyres may be clear varnished.

13. GUIDES
13.1. Only SICH26 or SICH66 standard clip guides may be used.
13.2. It is illegal to add parts to a guide eg extending the blade.

14. WEIGHT
14.1. Weight may be added inside the car only and must be securely fixed with glue, tape or BlueTac.
14.2. Weight must be lead or a lead/alloy substitute.

15. FREE CHOICE
Only parts available from the Slot.it range are to be used except for the following: braid, axle/guide spacers, motor to guide cable, alloy wheel grub screws and body screws & motor fixing screws.

DeNotes
Only parts that are available from Pendle Slot Racing are eligible.

The eligibility of a car will be at the discretion of the organisers and the scrutineer. Any car that is deemed not in keeping with the spirit of the series will be disqualified.
The organisers have the right to amend these rules at any point during the year. The Organiser’s decision is final.
